Adobe Founders Tower
Project Description
The Adobe North Tower project is a large-scale, state-of-the-art all-electric building with a mechanical design optimized for energy efficiency and sustainability. The commercial kitchens are also all-electric, utilizing induction cook-tops and electric combination ovens. The building is situated on eight levels of parking, two below ground, and primarily functions as office space, but also includes extensive commercial kitchens on three levels. Furthermore, a customer experience center has been developed with exacting standards for acoustics, aesthetics, and audio-visual performance. The building is equipped with a high-efficiency water-cooled chilled water plant and an ASHP hot water plant with heat-recovery heat pumps for simultaneous cooling and heating. The chiller plant is designed for maximum flexibility and efficiency, with chillers installed in a series configuration and able to serve any load depending on the most efficient operational scenario.
