Mountain View, CA
Google Bay View
Project Description
Bay View is an all-electric, net water-positive campus with the largest geothermal pile installation in North America. Bay View along with Charleston East represents Google’s first time of internally developing their own campus. This new campus is able to maintain net water positive due to its onsite grey water system.
Google’s new 1.1M sqft campus in Mountain View, California will house approximately 4,000 employees between two buildings and an event center. Built-up air handling units provide 100% outside air via a combination of overhead and underfloor distribution. Heating/cooling is provided via hydronic loops that are served by a single central utility plant, which utilizes heat recovery chillers and a geothermal pile system.
